Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh (BGP) Sikkim strongly condemns the act of anti Sikkimese elements in the state trying to disturbed the communal harmony of peaceful Sikkim. The posters stuck around different places in the East and the West district of Sikkim carry provoking contents that are targeted against bonafide Sikkimese Nepali, Bhutia and
Lepcha. Offending text in the posters are detrimental to the peace , communal harmony and the security of state.
BGP Sikkim feels, that the text in the posters are intentionally schemed to derange the law and order situation in the state.
BGP Sikkim, general secretary Prabin Khaling appeals the people in the state through the press release to maintain calm and avert the ill intentioned design of the elements at work to destabilize the tranquil atmosphere of the state.
BGP Sikkim also appeals the state administration to get to the root through thorough investigation against this anti social elements working against the state. BGP Sikkim appreciate the suo motu action taken by
the police authority as well.
